Congratulations everyone who took part in this weeks Waterfront 5k
Yet again it appears we had a great night on the waterfront with 60% of the field achieving PBs at the Waterfront5k We had 128 keen runners, walkers (& bubbas) out on course tonight - including 30(!) new runners for the first time this summer.
The wind was (reasonably) still, just a light zephyr from South, and it was hot and crowded out there around the waterfront tonight - near perfect conditions (well except for the crowds, but hey - That is the fun of the Waterfront 5k!)
Top three Men on course tonight were Ben Twyman (in a 16:04) ahead of Bert Prendergast & Theo Wordsworth
On the ladies side tonight top three were Melissa Black (in 18:37) followed by Ruby Muir (who was pacing), and Emma Bassett.
The first walker home was Clive McGovern in 30:15.
Congratulations to all who took part tonight we look forward to seeing you all again this summer
