26 either brave or batty runners and walkers toed the line for the last 5k of the 2014/2015 season. The end of the season also coincided with the end of mild weather. Participants battled heavy rain and a strong northerly that threatened to blow people into the harbour.
In spite of the elements, Tony Wolken ran an impressive 17:05 to take the mens win and our fastest female was Kirsten Price who made it home in 26:21. The first walker home was John Hines in 37:48.
Congratulations to all who took part not only last night but across the season.
